A month for pumpkins

Fall has been fabulous in the Halman household! We've had such a busy month of October and our two little pumpkins have had a blast. We started off the month celebrating Brannon's engagement to Heather. We met at the Ponte Vedra club for brunch. Coach and Leo shouldn't be allowed to sit next to each other at a restaurant because they get into too much trouble together. :)
Leo has been busy learning lots of new things. He says a handful of words (mama, dada, kak kak for quack, ga ga for doggie, ha for hot) and says "BA" for alot of things like: Bat, Bath, Balloon, Ball, Baby, etc. :) He has taken his first steps but still prefers crawling everywhere. He dances everytime he hears music and by dance I mean bounces up and down. He LOVES his books that play music and he absolutely loved his first time fingerpainting...

Isla continues to love school and she's had a lot of great days in a row where the teacher has said what a fabulous helper she's been. She cracks me up with the things she says everyday. She is just growing into a little lady too fast for me. She also still loves going to the park on pretty days and fishing with Coach, feeding the ducks and turtles and swinging.

Bathtime with these two gets out of control. They have splash wars everynight and crack up the whole time.

We had another picnic at the park the other day and John met us up there to spend time with us during his lunch break. Isla blowed bubbles for Leo, we fed the huge ducks and even had one almost land on Isla's head.
Of course one of the best parts about October is the pumpkin patch.
Haystacks, tons of pumpkins, bouncy houses, games, scarecrows, I love all of it.

Isla's class even took a field trip to the pumpkin patch where she got to enjoy all the activities for a second time. And I tagged along with Leo so we got to have a round two as well.

And the most exciting news this month is that I get to finally announce my pregnancy! :) That's right, we are expecting another little pumpkin May 4th. We are so very excited. Isla can hardly wait and already is kissing and rubbing my belly. I can't believe we will be blessed with 3 children. All this love makes me the happiest mama in the world! More on the pregnancy to come.
The Jacksonville Zoo's Spooktacular was this past weekend and it was a hit. Candy at every turn, face painting, D.J.s, more carved jack o lanterns than I ever thought possible, carousel rides, candy apples, pirates, Alice and Wonderland world, bouncy houses, and tons of smiles.
It's been a great October and all of our little pumpkins fill us with so much happiness.
