10 Weeks To Go!

I am 30 weeks pregnant today with our little pumpkin. I can't believe I only have 10 more weeks to go till we get to meet our precious little one. This pregnancy has really flown by and I want to cherish these last weeks b/c I know how much I'll miss feeling all the kicks, hiccups and roly poly movements. Being pregnant is such a beautiful thing and absolutely one of my favorite times in life. I'm so grateful for the gift of being a mother!

Beach Babe

Isla is loving the beach this summer. Her favorite things to do are building drip castles, collecting seashells in her bucket and swimming in the ocean. She is such a little seagull and we love spending our weekends with her in the sand.

My Tiny Dancer

Isla had her first dance lessons on Tuesday. She was the cutest ballerina I've ever seen. She absolutely loved ballet, tap and tumbling. She still goes around the house saying "Shuffle, step, shuffle, step." I think tap is her favorite so far. Here's our tiny dancer:

Happy 4th of July!

Our 4th of July weekend was a wonderful family filled one. Isla started the weekend off right with a patriotic pastry...mommy did too :), and then we headed to the beach for a morning of fun. She is such a beach girl and loves every second in the sand. In the afternoon we went to John's Aunt and Uncle's house for a cookout and Isla had a blast scrapbooking with the family. Once home, we lit off some fireworks in our driveway but she was not excited about them at all. "Too scary, Mommy!" were her exact words.

YUMMY!

Potty Trained!!!

I think we are finally done!!! Isla has gone 2 weeks without any accidents and even takes herself to the potty if Mommy and Daddy are in another room. She is so independent now and I don't know what happened to my little baby girl. We are so proud of our 2 year and 2 month old potty trained girl!

Excuse me, mom.
All done!
