Monday, July 21
1. Sleeping in till 7:00! That's a big deal around here and one reason why I love our summer!
2. Isla's first book club meeting. One of her classmates from last year lives in our neighborhood and started a book club. They read a chapter book a week and come up with 5 questions which they discuss at the meeting while they munch on cake. Then they play games! Such a great idea!
3. We've had such a great summer so far and I'm so glad we still have 4 weeks left of being all together!
Tuesday, July 22
1. The way Palmer says, "I love you mommy" whenever I let him do what he wants to.
2. The way Hart calls trains "choo choo boards!" Like, "choo choo, all aboard!"
3. The way Isla still says, "blow my window down" instead of "roll my window down." It's the last thing she says incorrectly and I can't bring myself to correct her.
Wednesday, July 23
1. An appointment for Link at the ENT that eased my worries for at least three more months. His little nose dimple will be reevaluated at that point.
2. Craft time with Aunt Linda for Isla and Leo. They had a blast going to her house and it gave me a little break.
3. Rocking Hart before bedtime and the touch of his soft little hand on top of mine.
Thursday, July 24
1. Breakfast at coach and Gigi's.
2. Brothers with spikey hair!
3. Napolis for dinner and $1 pizza slices.
Saturday, July 26
1. Watching Isla at gymnastics with Leo and Link. She's really good on the balance beam and uneven bars!
2. John's mom and grandmom came over to play and eat lunch with us! So sad we only see them twice a year.
3. Hotdogs cooked on the grill for dinner and a movie night.
Monday, July 28
1. A Slip and slide covered in baby soap and water! I even went down it a couple of times!
2. Superhero cake baking and decorating.
3. The way Hart takes his big basket of cars and trucks with him wherever he goes in the house! He pushes it from room to room! The boy loves cars!
