Happy Halloween

 I love Spooky stuff and my kids love candy so this holiday is pretty fun for us.  We start talking about what they are going to be for Halloween in June. It might change five times before October but that's how excited they are to dress up and get candy!!!  This year Isla chose to be a ladybug so she wanted Hart to be a bumblebee. Leo chose Darth Vadar and Palmer couldn't wait to be Batman!  We started our weeklong celebration by going to the pumpkin patch. This was Hart's first Halloween so he was in awe of all the big orange balls.  Then we carved pumpkins (Isla designed a happy face) and roasted the seeds. This year we were invited to one of our neighbors house for their annual potluck dinner for adults/pizza for the kids party before trick or treating.  I was so excited because growing up my family did the same thing and I have such wonderful memories of Halloween night.  We have such wonderful neighbors and I'm so happy we live in this community!  After the party it was candy time! My babies loaded up then it was back home to trade candies and eat the goods.  Halloween 2013 was a great one!
