Hart’s Baptism
It was a perfect Day! Hart Edward Halman was Baptized at Palms Presbyterian Church on Sunday, August 25th. We thank God for giving us the gift of Hart and we promise to raise him in the ways of The Lord. Here is our angel on his special day:
Hart (Newborn to Nine Months)
Our Hart has grown so much! He's now officially been in the world longer than he was in my belly!
Let me just say this boy is the sweetest. I feel like I've said that with all of my children but Hart really is just happy all of the time. Of course he prefers to be held over crawling around but I'll gladly snuggle with him. Right now he is crawling everywhere and pulling up and cruising around furniture. He has 6 teeth and is still drooling so more are on their way. And he shows them off by smiling in the cutest way...he squints his eyes and tilts his head back and flashes his toothy grin. It makes me laugh every time. He's officially done with baby food in a jar and eats anything we have on our plates. Hart really loves the little baby food pouches though and he'll suck one down in ten seconds. He doesn't know that each one is packed with fruits and veggies! The dr. Gave us the go ahead to switch from mommy milk to whole milk since he's still under 25% in weight...which is unusual for our babies. He's not too sure about it yet... Hart loves to imitate the sounds you make and it has become a game for us. His favorites are dadada, bababa, and a smacking sound with his tongue. He's the cutest! He smiles all the time and giggles at his brothers and sister constantly. Love our baby 4 so much! Look at how he's grown...

Our Summer
I had all 4 of my babies home with me this summer and it was wonderful, fun, tiring, filled with laughter, filled with sibling drama, but mostly it was memorable! I really loved every second especially because I know how the real school year works now. From mid August to June you are just in a constant state of hurrying. Waking up, getting dressed, fixing breakfast, packing lunches, rushing out the door, speeding to school, going home and doing daily chores and tasks, putting babies down for naps, speeding to school once more to get a good spot in carline, coming home for a little bit of outdoor play before the whole dinner/bedtime routine starts. It's exhausting! Which is why for me these past three months were perfect!
Our summer adventures included trips to build a bear, rebounderz, the Cummer Museum, the library, the pool, the beach, Vacation Bible School, and a family trip to Orlando.
Here are some of my favorite moments from our Summer 2013:
