Craft Days – This week it was homemade play dough. I found a recipe on thecraftycrow.com and it was perfect! Add a little food coloring and you’ve got yourself the real thing. We scrounged some kitchen utensils and cookie cutters together for the tools and jumped right in for some creative fun.
Carnivals – The St. Paul’s and Palms Spring Carnival were a week apart. Talk about sugar overload Saturdays.
(Happy 18 months to Leo)
(My angels)
(Isla loved the whale ride. She rode it 3 times.)
(Cake walk at Palms. Leo won!)
Beach days – boogie boarding, digging pools big enough for our girl and boy, collecting shells, running up and down from towel to shore and back again, swimming in really cold ocean water resulting in purple lips, then cuddling up under towels to warm up.
Spring also means my baby boy isn’t going to be the baby much longer….but he’ll always be the one who taught me about baby boys. And I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. Leo, my love, you are the sweetest thing ever. Thank you for showing us the joy that is a little boy. I’m so excited that you and Isla will soon be meeting your new baby brother. He doesn’t know how lucky he is to have Isla and you to show him the ropes. I love you, baby Leo!
(His ga ga (pacifier), Bashful (the donkey), and hair twirl….the 3 things he needs to fall asleep)
Spring means happiness!
