A festival, birthday party, beach day, and a carnival. What a fun weekend. Saturday we headed down to Huguenot Park for a fishing festival. Isla had fun on the bouncy slide, eating hotdogs, and attempting to catch fish. We were the second group to go so by the time we cast our line into the pond, the fish were wise to the earthworm and hotdog bait. :) Later that afternoon we had more fun at Isla's friend, Riley's Birthday party. She had a princess bouncy house and butterfly pinata.
Sunday we woke up to beautiful weather so we went down to the beach. Isla flew her Barbie kite, jumped waves in the ocean, and built drip castles while little Leo ate shovels and a few grains of sand. :) That afternoon we went to the St. Pauls Carnival. Jax. Beach in the spring is simply great!
