What a wonderful Christmas it was! I've never seen a child as excited as Isla was Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. Isla made sure Santa and his reindeer wouldn't go hungry by making cookies and reindeer food Christmas Eve. She stayed awake until 9:30 Christmas Eve having so much fun making pizza at the Flynn's and then singing Christmas carols at The Ponte Vedra Club. We read the Night Before Christmas and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas before bed and her eyes were already shut by the time I read the last line. We had to wake her up Christmas morning to come see what Santa brought her since she was exhausted from the night before. But OH BOY did her eyes light up when she saw all her toys. It was amazing to see and so much fun to be reliving that Christmas morning excitement all over again through her. Leo's first Christmas was mainly spent eating and sleeping but Isla made sure to open all of his presents for him. After our morning we packed up and went to Coach and Gigi's for brunch and more presents. We then spent the afternoon cooking and playing with all the fun toys the kids got. The annual Christmas open house was a hit again. John's gumbo was to die for and we had such a great time with the friends and family who stopped by. It was really a magical Christmas and I can't wait till next year when Isla and Leo will be even more excited then this year. Geo Trax from santa
