Family Fun

We've had such a great month! Our family time together is so precious and we have made lots of memories this January. Isla and Leo are becoming great friends and playmates. Even though Leo can't do much yet, he loves to just lay down and stare at Isla while she reads him book after book. She also does tummy time with Leo and will hand him toys to keep his interest. He's getting stronger by the day and turned 4 months old today. At this age Isla was already rolling over but Leo just has no interest. It may be because he weighs almost 4 pounds more than she did and that's alot to haul around. :) He is the sweetest baby though and smiles and "talks" to us all the time. He loves to chew on his hands and his owl, Moe, whom Isla named. :) Isla is so funny these days and keeps us laughing all the time. She loves playing Hide n Seek with Mommy and Daddy and her hiding places are hilarious. For instance, she hid in our bar sink the other night and I had to take a picture of that. We took her to see The Princess and The Frog on Saturday and she loved it almost as much as the popcorn. John and I also got to go out and have some fun together on a date night. Life is amazing and we are so happy!

Let 2010 Begin!

2009 was such a fabulous year, I don't know how 2010 will top it...although it's off to a good start. I found out I was pregnant last January and spent basically the whole year carrying our little baby boy in my tummy and then raising him in his first 3 months. Our beautiful daughter, Isla, was potty trained, moved into her big girl room and bed and started preschool in 2009. She grew into a little lady and amazes us each day with all she knows. John went through 3 jobs but has found a good fit at Capital Staffing and we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. I can't wait to see what 2010 has in store for our precious family...
